I have been using the Korg DT-10 for a couple of years and like it.
I tried the Planet Waves CT-04 but returned it. It just wasn't accurate. It was very quick to say "in tune" when it wasn't even close.
I was interested in the true bypass feature, but it looks like the only option for that right now is the Strobo$tomp.

I have a silly clip-on tuner (the kind usually used for acoustic guitars that goes on your headstock) for when I play w/o effects...just bass into amp. When I play with my effects, my Boss ME-50B has a great tuner already. Both the Boss and the Planet Waves tuners have a daisy-chain-out, which is pretty sweet if you don't have enough power. I have a Voodoolabs PP2+, so I'm fine.
Ok, I A/Bed my Strobe o Stomp to my Guitarists Korg DT-10
Basically I just turn the tuners different ways so I was way out, tuned with the Korg then retuned with the Strobe.
The Korg is pretty fast, but I think I can tune faster with my Strobe now but the Korg easily handled my DGCF tuning, got it tuned up quickly, walked across the room and tuned with the strobe.
The strobe showed the D and G being pretty much bang on but with the C and F a little bit flat but this was litterally a 1/32 of a turn on each tuning peg so very minimal. I'd say if I was looking to buy a tuner I'd prolly get the DT-10 but I have my Strobe already and I like having the DI in it as a backup. So I don't think I'll be trading down any time soon.
I do have a Planet Waves tuner on its way as I managed to pick it up cheap but its just for chucking in my gig bag for jams and such tuner as my Boss TU-70 isn't Chromatic.

Yes, your review definitely helped myself and I wasn't even looking for a new tuner-

Side note: I finally tested out the DI on my Strobostomp, and I think I'd rather not rely on it as backup for any serious gig. It sounded pretty weak, both "thin" and very low output. 
But it's still a great tuner!

Its a backup backup so once my iamp 800 and iamp600 fail

Do you have a 4- or 5-string? I've been looking at the Boss TU80, but didn't know how it would work with a 5-string.
Forgot about this thread but since I posted the Korg and Strobe O Stomp differences I picked up a Planet Waves tuner.
While it looked really nice thats about all I can say, it was reasonably accurate bit slow though didn't get bang on once put through the korg and the strobe. Main issue was once bypassed and tuned it had like a processor noise like you could hear it figuring out the tuning, I was not impressed.
So there you go.

I recently picked up a Boss TU-50, one of their older half-rack "Pro" series, and it is terrific! The tuning is not any faster than my Strobostomp; in fact maybe a touch slower. But it is perfectly accurate: I detuned my bass, then tuned it up with the TU-50, and then checked the tuning with the Strobo, and the Strobo rotary indicator was completely still! Dead on. Also, the mute function (using an external footswitch) is silent, no popping, and the tuner circuit does not seem to affect the bass tone or s/n ratio in any way. I'm not sure whether I like the TU-50 or the Strobo better.
Yes, I did it. Basically you're building a bypass box inside the pedal because you still need a momentary switch to turn the tuner on and off. IMO it wasn't really worth all the effort it took. The bypass isn't bad and it'll be easier to sell later if you keep it stock.
Is there any difference between the Korg DT-10 and DT-10BK other than the colour of the unit and LEDs?
GOOD QUESTION! And also does anyone here find one to be more easy to see/ read than the other because of the color of the box and LEDS?
