I recently joined a metal band. one that tunes Down to 2 steps down. And as soon as I tuned down there was just fretbuzz when I didn't have that problem I'm standard or even drop D. What can I do to rid of this issue?

Set it up or take it to get it set up. Lowering the tuning has released string tension and has allowed the neck to bow back a bit.I recently joined a metal band. one that tunes Down to 2 steps down. For c standard or CFA#D# the best scenario in my opinion is having the bass set up for it with the right strings. I played in a side band at one point in c standard. I used DR high beam 5 string set of strings with the .125 low b and tuned it up a half step. Makes the string tension much better then tuning down standard strings so far.
Here's a video that mentions the exact same thing
The issue with that, is that if I get .125 5string set, I play in another band that uses standard tuning. I've tried setting it up the action but its still not working out.
I have another bass, its pretty low end and the electronics on it are pretty bada talk bass member with only one bass? There's a rare onej/k
There's several options you could have the bass set up with the lower tuning and use a capo to get the standard eadg. If the bass is setup for c standard and you put a capo on the 4th fret your back to standard tuning. And what's cool with those two tunings when using a capo is the first couple fret markers are in the right place. For example the 7th fret marker becomes the old 3rd fret marker(your G) . 9th fret becomes the 5th fret(your A).
Getting a second bass is another option.
