Tuxedo Bass #3 Coming Up

I like it naked too - but I had originally designed it to accept several different makes/models of P p'ups, and the holes are a tad larger than I'd like to leave visible.

What impresses me the most is the sheer power of the dual splits - they just overwhelm me and they hold such nice tone and definition too.

Somehow - the position of them gives me a distinct voice difference from the uppers to the lowers, and they just sound good. Mixing them really surprised me with what I figure was a fortunate accident.

I never really got into the math of primary-secondary-tertiary harmonics and vibrating string fundamentals - it just works.

The body is also very comfortable to play on lap or strap - it just fits well with the sculptured bouts, and yet it sits well on a knee when you want to sit and play.

Balance is about as good as I have on anything but my SR500 - and that's just p E r f e C t! :D

Very nice Joe! Good luck in your move and I pray for your health improves.

Phoenix, huh? Um - could be! Nah - too hot and the wife isn't happy with heat.

Although we are going through Phoenix - stopping in Glendale for a pizza at 'La Piazza Al Forno' where I saw a real New York Pizza! Gonna try to be there Wednesday early evening.

Then it's on to the house in Concho and up to Fort Collins Colorado and then Missoula and then Caldwell Idaho.

Seriously looking at Northern AZ and lower Idaho at the moment.

Oh my that is a damn pretty bass

I kinda 'accidentally made' this bass - I had an idea with the Jaguar shape and Ibanez sculpturing - but somehow the elements all came together nicely. In any case - I appreciate what you and others have said.
