Great! If you go to the "Cabinet Manager" tab at the top of that window, you will see what is available on your license / computer and what is installed on the OPUS device - here you can also transfer cabinets from your computer to OPUS and remove cabinets you dont want on the OPUS. Let me know how you get on and if you need anything else, I am here to assist.Thank you for getting back to me …
ok I clicked off the computer and left the torpedo on and saved the preset… is there a way to see what is stored on the opus itself?

I realize that many people do not refer to owner's manuals to solve issues, but I do believe that time spent filling out some of the missing info in the Opus manual, as well as better organizing the manual, would end up saving the support people time in the long run.No worries at all, if you need anything else, please dont hesitate to let me know!
Thanks for getting in touch. What do you think is missing from the manual out of interest? For example, the question above is dealt with un section: "3.1.4 Internal Memory Management". As ever, we are always looking to improve things so please let us know what you feel is missing and we can certainly look into it!I realize that many people do not refer to owner's manuals to solve issues, but I do believe that time spent filling out some of the missing info in the Opus manual, as well as better organizing the manual, would end up saving the support people time in the long run.
IMO, the Opus manual could be much better than it currently is.

Thanks for all that feedback - consider it sent over to our team now! Here's what I see in that section:

Through a USB connection to the desktop variant of Torpedo Remote, all tools are provided to load and manage OPUS’ DynIR™s, 3rd Party IRs and Presets using the menu tabs entitled CABINET MANAGER, IR MANAGER, and PRESET MANAGER respectively.
In each tab, the left panel shows the files available on your computer; the right tab shows the files loaded into the internal memory of OPUS.

Not very detailed, plus I think the title of that section will confuse some people.
"File Management" might be more specific and it seems odd to me that "CABINET MANAGER" is only mentioned three times in the manual, when I think it deserves its own subsection.
I'm thinking that if someone went through all of the questions posed online and all of the tickets created in your system, that you could get an idea of what might be missing in the manual.
I don't think it is laid out very well, either.
For example: "Using the DynIR Engine" and its contents should replace The DynIR Engine | Cabinet Miking title and have a subsection on cabinet miking.
Then "Creating a Preset" would have a very short mention of selecting a DynIR Cabinet.
I think you get the idea.
A great product deserves a great Owner's Manual, plus I think it would save you guys time dealing with customer problems.
If you wrote the manual, I'm not disparaging the work you've done, I just think it could be make more complete with better organization.
Thanks for indulging my OCDness!

Agree… I’m 65… been playing for 50 years and use and run digital mixers and sound systems and I frequently jump to the latest tech. I have found manuals to be helpful when they anticipate “user issues” and graphically illustrate and explain … while this cannot be accomplished for every activity function or user… it might be helpful as replier suggests to review new user questions and help asks. Several pro audio brands do a decent job with this… dbx, Presonus, Allen &HeathThanks for all that feedback - consider it sent over to our team now!
Thanks for getting back to me. Noted and understood - we actually have a support site at Support.Two-notes.com which contains a great knowledge-base - we tend to pool user questions here and create topic-specific walk throughs. This may be worth checking out if you have a question as 9-times-out-of-10, we've been asked it many times before!Agree… I’m 65… been playing for 50 years and use and run digital mixers and sound systems and I frequently jump to the latest tech. That might also be a great resource for updating the Opus Owner's Manual and by the addition of a "Troubleshooting" section. Thanks for getting back to me. No problem at all - happy to dive in!@Ross Davies, thanks for inquiring regrading my foray into Genome in the other thread. I will need to dive into Genome deeper to develop intelligent questions and then post them.
Perhaps my biggest request is a new ReVolt Bass unit with Ampeg B15, Fender Bassman Pro, and Acoustic 360 or GK RB 2001 amp models "hardwired". This unit would be a complement to the original. Thoughts? Thoughts from the community?
Also, I would like IRs of the entire Rumble line. Is that a possibility?
Not sure how I came to this conclusion, but I now believe that is untrue (as well as being nonsensical).... I found that even if you don't use a cabinet, the mics still affect your sound ...
Thanks for getting in touch. Yes if the cabinet is disabled, the mics (which are inherently tied to the cabinet capture) wont impart any tonal impact on the sound. For bass however, there are times where I dont use a DynIR at all and instead opt for the Custom EQ for a final overall balance/profile!Not sure how I came to this conclusion, but I now believe that is untrue (as well as being nonsensical).

Awesome! Nothing like a new set of strings! That's for sure!Exactly!
My favorite Presets do not use a Cab DynIR's.
I've been retweaking my two favorite Presets, but I think I may change my strings and probably retweak some more before I post the updated Presets to the Exchange server.
Yes indeed! Its a big sale as well! Loads of bargains to be had!Two Notes has a Summer Sale going on:

I just bought a couple more DynIR Cabs - the Traditional Powerhouse 4x10 (which I believe is a new cab, I almost bought the Traditional Ph 8x10, but after going back and forth, the 4x10 sounded a bit more focused) ...
and
... I bought The Bass Deluxe 8x10 which just sounds huge, fat, and a bit gnarly and has some great mics with it - I will probably use this for all of my OD and distortion Presets.
