What is this Fury bass worth?

Sold listings on eBay show around the $200 mark.

or it will say Crafted in USA on the headstock.

Peavey parlance for "assembled in USA".
That sometimes meant imported bodies/hardware fitted with a USA neck.
Final MSRP for 3rd gen Furys was $399, that causes me to doubt the neck's origin.

Hah. My gigs these days are all on unamplified upright bass except for my church gig that I play my Cirrus 5 on.

The strings I have on my Millennium Plus 5 are:

Top load. If you run through the body the silk will be on the nut for the lower strings.

It will say very clearly Made in USA or it will say Crafted in USA on the headstock.
That looks to be about 1994 Made in USA Fury.
What is the serial number?

I don't have the bass on hand, a random person in my area is selling it. I don't think I'll go for it because the pickups and tone pots don't look original. The tone pots don't even seem to match so I'm not sure what the deal is that.

Pots are likely the same, just the knobs changed.

Honestly the electronics are some of the weaker parts in the 90s stuff, I wouldn't be put off if the price was right.

I'm not sure if early Furys had the "custom" matching peghead variant.

When I dropped off the final Peavey PGs to the template fella, he gave me a b/w/b Fury PG by way of thanks.
Reminds I better put those PGs back on the basses.

Further reminder, dropped of a thumb rest/mounting ring. Time I checked in with Brian, see if he's perfected making them yet.

3rd reminder. He has held back listing the TR covers as he's not 100% the curve is correct. The 2 I got worked just grand.

Sadly to an eBay merchant, 1 man's "just grand" is another man's return for refund and negative feedback

August 1982. After my first bass, a Silvertone p copy from walmart, this blazer was my first serious bass. It's definitely got its fair share of wear, both from me since 2008 or so, and all the other previous owners. Its a P for the ages though, such a killer instrument.
