Here's mine.
I have 2 giant 410s for some reason. The wheeled one is a bit older, I traded in a couple Hartke (410&115) cabs and bought the Peavey used. Many rock 'n roll gigs with it. I bought the TVX new as a backup for it, and as it has never failed the TVX is pretty much unused.
The Trace Elliot I bought used in the mid 90s and never looked back, what a great amp and running at 4ohms its loud and clear. Lately I have been running the cab with my Terror Bass 500, its a beast for sure and I love the tube OD you can get from it.

A TL 5 came up on GC website this morning. There is no photo yet but I called and it is a red Generation 1 (Super Ferrite PU's). It is priced on the high side at $679.99 but they are saying it is in great condition.

I bought it used and the logo was already gone. The only down side to these is they weigh as much as an 810.

Wow, have you guys noticed how QUICKLY classic USA made Peavey's sell on GC Used now ? They used to sit there for months ! Now, it's hours sometimes.

I still own (and it's my #1 or #2 Cirrus) that I got in 2006 or '07 during the recession for $650 shipped. They were asking $950 and this was when you could still negotiate used gear prices. I miss those days !

Is that red one a transparent red? I think I see wood grain? Very nice.

You can still negotiate, but only after it sits 90 days as I was told on GC Used. The sitting there 90 days is the tricky part.

I already have a perfectly fine Slant Fury but that one did give me a serious GAS attack.

What's the difference between a TL 5 and a Dyna?

TL5 has figured wood and is neck thru and ebony fingerboard. Dyna has similar electronics but is bolt on and most have an opaque finish. TL5 has see through finish so you can see the figure in the maple.

That looks like a room filling amp! 8x12" would fill a hall!
Never played a 412TX, but it's gotta be impressive to experience!
I started playing bass through 12" speakers and have returned to them as my primary choice. They have clarity, quick transient movement and a deep punch. My three main cabs are two 2x12" and a 1x12".

sounded decent but wasn’t quite happy with my volume with the band I tried a few different gain setups. Like active off and gain low with master up

And on with high gain and low master and as well witch some different combo Eq and just couldn’t get the same volume/headroom I’m used too with the DDT light turning red all the time


With my dad playing drums lol he said it felt gutless

Same thoughts. Would never think a Firebass and 4x12" would be gutless.
Maybe something is wrong with the head..?
