Took me hours to cut out those darn Peavey logos from "Contact" sticky book covering stuff..no wonder my eyes are shot these days loll..they have hung on to the pups and trc since '91..I thought they would curl up and drop off years ago..lol

I'm generally awake all night on the computer..my wife snores louder then my Dyna bass full volume through my MKIV rig...and THAT'S LOUDDD lol..its ok..she can't see me typing..she has diabetes and is still sleeping at 9.25am..unless I wake her up to make breakfast and if I do that..you may never see me again lolll

I only had a few minutes to look them over at the same time as I am working from home and need to get my work completed.

So what is the difference between these two basses besides the name?

Is the early Fury a renamed T-20 or is it an improvement of the T-20 that warranted having a new model of bass?

Please enlighten me. I’ll have more time this evening to compare but at first glance maybe the lower bout on the Fury is wider?

Almost forgot…looking for a Peavey case for the Fury

Replying to my own post...finally getting off of my arse and posting pix of a 1982 T-20 I received via UPS on August 4 from the same seller that I bought the 1984 Fury from. Since we had dealt with each other over the phone on the Fury transaction concerning shipping we decided to deal directly with other on the T-20 transaction.

And now for part three of my USA Summertime Peavey extravaganza...:bassist:

A while ago I missed out on a beautiful Peavey Foundation on Reverb over a lousy 50 bucks. :wideyed: Been kicking myself ever since :banghead: and told myself that if I ever saw another one in the same price range and same condition I'd buy it without trying to haggle. :help:

I cam across this 1983 Foundation on CL Search Tempest.:hyper: Was listed in Philly area. I texted the seller through CL and we decided to meet in person outside of Philly about an hour from me. He told me he also had it listed on Reverb which I was not aware of and he knocked the priced down since no shipping was involved.:thumbsup: The one that I lost out on mentioned above was a maple FB model while this is a rosewood FB model. I'd still rather have maple FB, but no way was I letting this go in this finish...no way. Maybe I can trade for one with a maple FB later...or not.:whistle:

Picked it up in person on August 8.

Well, that's interesting because I use 'Lower Susquehanna Valley' as a veil for Elizabethtown, PA so the nasty grumbly grimblys don't sneak down my chimney to steal my basses... isn't it a sin they're so thin.


...bonus points to anyone who knows where that came from albeit changed a bit by yours truly...

I know what you mean...I can't play my bass inside too loud in case the neighbours hear me...once my front windows start rattling I know i'm too loud and watch out for home invaders from new people in the street looking to pinch my gear. Time to buy a couple rottweilers loll

@neo 7 had a T-45 in the same color as my Fury, but he can't recall what the color was officially called.
