Agreed, get the Rogan knob now before the next price hike!$10 is reasonable to cure OCD.
I would move the mid sweep knob (or whatever EQ knob you turn the least) to the presence spot until the replacement comes.

Yep, just the phone....the stage has about an 8"lip that goes around it so I put it in the corner. It was also right next to one of the sub/top FOH stacks. Michael has been at it for a while....and he actually doesn't listen to very much EJ to be honest. More of an SRV guy. After SRV passed the Double Trouble guys (Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton) used to do some touring (after Storyville and Arc Angels) and would pick vocalists and guitarists to play some SRV stuff and some other material as well. I think they selected Michael somewhere around 2000/2001 to handle the guitar work for a summer tour. Pretty cool and it's neat seeing some of the photos of him with the guys back then. That looks and sounds great ! That was with a phone only ? Wow. Great playing, and your guitar player is really good. He obviously likes Eric Johnson![]()

I threw my phone in the corner of the stage the other night and hit record. Always a fun time with the ole TL.....
Thanks!Amazing what a cell phone can do....the sound is good and the video looks good as well.
Nice playing also.![]()
Yep,decided to order the knob,$13 shipped. Not to offend anyone, consider it price gouching?Agreed, get the Rogan knob now before the next price hike!

Pretty standard, after shipping. Usually, the expensive one is the black reverb knob. There is only one, and only on certain amps. The light grey EQ knobs are more plentiful.Yep,decided to order the knob,$13 shipped. Not to offend anyone, consider it price gouching?
Understand about them not readily available anymore. Thanks, for the info.Pretty standard, after shipping. Usually, the expensive one is the black reverb knob. There is only one, and only on certain amps. The light grey EQ knobs are more plentiful.
Those Rogan amp knobs are much like the metal P knobs on the instruments: unique and only used in the late 70s-mid 80s. Add that most of the amps are still in circulation, you run into a situation of rarity.
I know people that would take a Bandit, that usually sells for $100-125, and strip it for the Scorpion speaker ($65) and the knobs (9x $6=$54) when they would break vs fixing. Pretty lucrative for parts.
What is the switch meant to do ?I was the winner on the mahogany patriot body auction
What is the switch meant to do ?
You , me and 99.9% of bass players past & presentIt’s a kill switch, which is absolutely not something I want/need.
The kill switch is very cool if you're playing and need to unplug real quickly without having to touch any knobs. On that bass, it's totally unnecessary, and in the way.
My guitar player has a kill switch button for effect, like that EVH sound, but that's guitar. Just playing Devil's advocate...
Congrats though ! That is a sweet starting point !!
I was the winner on the mahogany patriot body auction, and I’m so stoked to have a hog body for the patriot neck I’ve had kicking around for over a year. Fingers crossed they’re a good fit! View attachment 4392972
Thanks! I’m so stoked. The patriot is debatably my favorite peavey model, and while my turquoise one is an absolute beast (after a good fret level) I’ve always wanted a mahogany one. Plus the neck I have for it has a very nice feel to it.
