Foundation for only $200 in NYC metro (no affiliation). Looks to have the original knobs as well? Also appears to have a wider nut than the typical 1.5"/jazz width (could just be my eyes playing tricks on me)? Great price, if no problems.

I always use linear volumes, absolutely. Tone's don't work properly with a linear taper, so always log there. In my experience, super ferrites come alive with 500k's. That said, the tone caps in the 80s peaveys are magically delicious, so I always reuse those when possible. They moved over to the cheap chiclet style in the 90s, which I don't appreciate nearly as much.

Frankly, I have no idea what kind they are. The closest ive come to finding replacements were these (these are .022uF, though the stock ones were .047uF I believe.)

I like the stock ones so much for the tonal quality they present when they roll off. They're very inefficient, so they tend to moreso color the tone than completely remove all highs, like the later style ones do. Very usable tone controls.

It's done !! Here is the Peavey G-llennium.
- Peavey G-Bass neck with Millennium silkscreen. Same dimensions, only this one is carbon fiber.
- Peavey Millennium JJ with correct parts
- Peavey Cirrus rear covers. Good thing I had extras !
- Input jack made from an old faucet. It look funny up close, but actually protects the input jack PERFECTLY. I was left with a big open barrel and had to use something to fill it. It's not like the Cirrus where it just has a cylinder drilled to fit a Switchcraft.
- Neck bolts and ferrules from Amazon (type in neck bolts for bass) Set of 5 !
- Hipshot Ultralights and Hipshot Ultralight Drop D
Sounds like a Milli G bass !!! Snappy, and responsive. Lots of growl.

A quick check on those Mexican caps revealed the following.

T-40 : 0.01 uf for the Vol treble bleeds. 0.022 uf for neck tone , 0.033 for bridge tone.
T-45 : 0.01 uf for treble bleed. 0.022 uk on tone pot. 0.01 uf + a small 1k resistor to jack socket.
Foundations : Again 0.01 uf for vol pots , 0.02 uf at tone pot.

It's 22:50 over here and I'm down with some bug , no way I'm opening up other basses for cap values tonight

No seriously, I LOVE my white Milli, so there's no reason for me to have two. I would just use it for spare parts, and that's how I got into this mess in the first place !

Last hot toddy I had fixed the lurgy right enough , shame it took a few years before I put the bottle back down.

An Audere would go in if you get the three control one. I have one in a headless I built. Three stacked pots: volume/blend, hi mid/low mid, bass/treble. It's pretty ridiculous.
