Hello, Peeved Members! :D PSA Time!
I just listed my Palaedium for sale right here on TB a few days back.
It’s the one I bought from Chuck M, and did reversible mods to.
It’s a great sounding player, but the neck shape is actually TOO skinny for my left hand.

I'd hesitate to buy anything from someone who takes photos where his junk is reflected on the junk he's trying to sell .

Scrub that , I wouldn't even message him. There's enough eejits have my email address without adding another :thumbsup:

I relooked at the pics as well. I must say the gas kicked in at the prospect of it being real...I haven't bought a Peavey in a while, I'm a little shaky!

RSBs look really sweet to me. Having paid $500 for my G Bass, I'm uncertain whether or not I got a good deal if I only consider the Peavey price scale. But, when I play it, I know I got more than $500 worth of bass.

So my uninformed advice is if you're gassing for it, negotiate the best price you can and get it.

I bought a Koa RSB for $200 and sold it for $250.
Neck was nice, did not care for the pickups.

I'd say you did well at $500 if it's in nice shape. Back 15 years ago, I know that I paid between $425- 475 for the ones that I had. In today's surreal economy, devalued US dollar and sellers' crazy high expectations...$500 seems perfectly reasonable. Even for a Peavey.

Must've been mentioning the one I just bought from GC. Not gonna lie it was in way better shape than I was expecting from the 1 photo they provided. Certainly in better condition than the $400 black T-40 I was looking at a couple years back and passed on. After some new strings, a fret cleaning, and a setup it should be good to go.

DAMN !!! That bass is SWEET !!! You're right, it looks WAY better than the photos. Black sure looks GOOD on a T-40 !

I just received a Foundation 5 with SF pickups. The neck is probably going to need to be replaced as nothing seems to remove the string buzzing above the 12th fret. What are my chances of finding a replacement Foundation neck? Are most Peavey necks interchangeable? I was thinking if I cant find a Foundation I would try a Dyna of maybe a graphite.

Can I ask what your setup is like right now? Typically that can occur from people having too curved a neck, and then lowering the saddles to try and compensate for the wrong problem. If your neck is flat in the center and the issues persist, its possible you have a ski jump where the neck meets the body, and the frets could possibly be leveled to help compensate the ramp, depending on its severity.
