To my ears the T20, patriot and fury sound different... especially the t20.. that being said -- your paying audience can care less.

Having said that, there are 2 Fury's at the local pawn shop for 100 or so each and an SX for a little more as well as and old Epi for 90 or something. One of the Fury's is MIU sunburst.
In another PS there's an old, very decrepit MIK Squire ShortS P with a g string on top AND bottom positions that's tuned like a uke or something for 75US.

I'd try cleaning them first. I've only run into one or two pots over the years that really needed to be replaced that weren't physically broken. For replacements, CTS 250K ohm Audio taper with 1/4" shaft.
Nice going on your refinish, btw. I've really enjoyed my Triple Black since I got it back. All the TLs are feeling ignored. I'm sure you're going to love yours.

Why not post it here and let us all in on the info?
I'd need photos and we'd be writing step by step for the specific pots.
Why not? I'm leary to post blanket how to stuff that people can create damage with.

Oh okay. I just figured that with a 50 cent pot, it could always be replaced.
I would use the cleaner from Radio Shack. It's always simpler to do this and reuse the same pots as were included in the original build.
You also need to remember that in the case of two volume pots, it is rather important to keep them paired up. Pots have a 10% tolerance and what is tagged as 250K may be actually 225K or 275K.
The manufacturers usually do a good job at pairing the pots together in that type of application.
Depending on the pot (would need pm pix) there is another way to get them to "unscratch"
Replacing is the last option (like Nick says)
Although if you're going to spend $10 on something to fix them, why not just replace them? Okay, I'll be quiet now.
