These are great sounding pickups.
I wonder if they’re sized the same as a Gibson T bird pickup…..

I don’t have a set of calipers to get a more precise measurement, but using my ruler they appear to be 95mm x 36mm - not including the ears.

Perhaps someone could get a measurement from a Cirrus 4 since these fit in there with no issues.

Does anyone know if the millenium j neck-pickup can be used for both bridge and neck position

Heads up to all Daddario string users. This months promo is any set of strings for 999 players points with the code 999strings

I just ordered a set of NYXL for my Jazz Bass, wish I had gotten a set of the super long 5 strings for the Cirrus. Oh well.

If the Fenders all shipped with alnico pickups ,You get a warmer , more mellow tone from Alnico.

The Fury use ceramic magnets , which are generally louder.

Reams have been written on the human mind quirk "loud = better".
I've been a fan of the Dimarzio Model P pickup for a number of years, and it qualifies as that louder/hotter pickup.
But this last year or so, the EMG Geezer has become my favorite split P pickup, it's made with Alnico V pole pieces and is marketed as a vintage sounding pickup.

Are the neck and bridge pickups the same length?
It's pretty common for J and J type basses to have 2 different sized pickups.
I've never noticed a difference, and have assembled many Cirrus's with whatever VFL pickups I had in my parts drawer and I didn't have a problem.

As for my Super Ferrites, same thing, so I put them on a volt meter to test resistance and I put the hotter one at the bridge. Maybe the same could apply to the VFL's. ?
