By the way, this bass was in near PERFECT condition.
Based on the serial number lookup it is a 1983. My first year in high school !

Was that Peavey T-20FL from GC by chance? They had one similar to yours that lasted way longer online than I expected it to and even got tempted to buy it a few times.

Just got through putting set of strings,on this Peavey Cirrus BXP,tiger finish front,with neck through neck,through body bridge. Set of XL D'Addario roundwound 45-100 gauge strings. Bass I play at Church as my backup bass.

I’m saying...

I bought a USA tele to match my Pbass... it was in great shape... hang tags etc...

They’re now selling for 2.5x what I paid for it ...

I cant imagine the stack of cash I”d have for all of the hundreds of peaveys i’ve Shuffled through the years..

Hello family, I drove to my local GC Used today and returned three basses I bought. Like I said, I spread myself WAY too thin, hence having to sell my Axcelerator to our brother Larry. I returned a non-Peavey bass and two Peaveys.
- The white Peavey 1987 Dyna bass. It was killer and nothing wrong with it, but I ended up buying the gray Dyna bass on GC Used that I've been looking at for months.
- The Peavey T-20 FL factory fretless. That bass was awesome, but I don't see playing it enough to justify owning it. Even the clerk who took my returns played it and being an Ibanez Roadstar II guy he was (which are KILLER) was in awe of the fretless. He said, "Wow, this is an amazing bass."
Both necks are perfectly straight and both basses have no issues. Just wanted to give you a heads up that they are back and should appear on the GC Used website soon.

Also, I don't know about any of you, but Reverb.com doesn't work on my laptop anymore, I have to use the phone app. There are some NICE Peaveys on there now.
-A Cirrus with a 2Tek bridge, and a
-stripped down Fury that looks like a Fender now that it's stripped down to bare wood and clear coated. That looks like a killer bass now.

Oh OK, thanks Chuck. It looked like the 2Tek on my Milli, but without the string through body option. Yeah, I know you're not a fan of 4 bangers. Thanks for the clarification.

The Fury I was talking about is called "1992 Peavey Fury Bass" for $375 which is the same year as mine and I adore it. It BLOWS AWAY any Fender Pbass I've played and it's a 1/4 the price.

That fretboard is GORGEOUS and it's a 4 banger ! Good thing I already own a bolt on Cirrus 4. I'll NEVER get rid of it. It is the bas with THE lowest action of every bass I own. It's silly just how low the action can go on these without any buzz. Simply incredible fret work and craftsmanship on the neck joint, as well. If it was available in P/J and J/J as well, would've been a smart move, but after reading what Quadzilla said about the new Spector that just came out and how the dual humbuckers give it a character that can't be found on a P/J is intriguing and makes me thing that Mech and the guys at Peavey were already was ahead of us.
