Tumeric is one of the primary spices in curry. I get mine at Costco because we cook curry frequently. It stains everything it touches (surprisingly, my teeth aren't yellow.) You can just take about 2 tbsp of tumeric and add a little water and stir to make a paste. Wipe it on, and wipe it off (I use paper towels.) Try to spread it around as best you can. The color may be a bit uneven after the initial application. Just take a new damp paper towel and go over the whole piece you are staining. The color should even out nicely.

I like that one a lot, especially since it's black/maple/wide nut. However, I really don't need another single pickup bass. Your offer is correct, considering the knobs have been changed and is there a case..?Not me but my animosity towards 2nd/3rd gen Furys needs no repeating

Nope. 21 vs 20 frets. It would require a LOT of range for the saddles to intonate correctly. T40 bodies need T40 necks. T45 necks and bodies interchange with a variety of other Peaveys. I have a T45 neck on a Foundation body and those joined up like they were meant to be. It was the easiest parts bass I have ever assembled.
I love turmeric as a spice, use it more often than most can handle.
As a stain, it's beautiful. I have wondered, especially considering how stained many of my cooking towels are from it.

I'm going through the spices... no turmeric, but I have a bag of Ras El Hanout which has turmeric in it. I probably wont use it on a bass, but I might use it on lunch tomorrow
That's really cool. Yesterday after your post, I tried looking up staining using Turmeric, all I could find was how to remove turmeric stains...

I believe that one's been around a few times. I recall seeing same color before with a bridge cover.
Raleigh is the closest store to me....I could take a look and see if it has a good neck if anyone is interested. It's more than I want to spend.

I have a question for the Cirrus experts.
Not even the Peavey manual is clear on that, but we know that all the NT Cirruses (Cirri?) are 35" scale.
It seems that also the bolt-on version in 5 strings is 35". What about the 4 strings? Is there conclusive proof that it is 34 or 35"? Thanks.

The 4 string is 34" scale. I own one so I know for a fact. The 5 and 6 are 35" scale. Did they even make a 6 ?
This is one of the reasons I like the BO Cirrus 4 is because it's 34" scale.

Thanks brother. I got them LONG ago before the "Peavey Explosion" in the last few months. IMO, the Bolt On has WAY more flexibility in the set up department. I never would've thought that a bolt on sets up with EVEN LOWER action than a neck through. Plus, the Bolt Ons all have wenge fingerboards and Millennium preamps, which mine died, so it has a stock Cirrus preamp in it now, which I'm totally OK with.
