Well if you make a play for it maybe ask the seller to weigh it first? That bass is northern ash, and that's T-40 territory. I'd be very surprised if that thing weighs in under 10 pounds.

For sure, 10# easily.
I have had 6 Foundations. All solid colors, so they are/were most likely poplar or maple (or..?), with the exception of the super light, neck diving '93, which I'm pretty sure was alder...

This was when people were brainwashed into thinking everything vintage was cool and everything modern sucked, because alternative music taught people to lessen the sound of talent a lot, put people to sleep in the process, and to never, ever try to act like you're having fun...oh, and act depressed as much as possible, too. Can ya tell I loathed that crap? Headbangers Ball turned into Alternative Nation, and I then hated the world a little more.

I feel completely the opposite, I was very pleased when alternative music came along.
It killed so many bad hair bands that were awful.
It also started to close the door on crappy electronic drums, bass that wasn't bass guitar, and guitars that didn't sound like guitars in much of 80's pop.
What does "taught people to lessen the sound of talent" mean?

Headbangers Ball was WAY cooler than Alternative Nation. "Peace Sells" intro was the sheezda back then. Still love that tune. Although, there are still some of those early Alt videos that make me laugh and cringe at the same time. :D

So long ago I cannot remember the exact date, I got the gig with an original music band after they had auditioned several other bass players. I was almost fifty; none of the others in the band had even reached twenty.

After a few rehearsals the BK's girlfriend gave a chair-by-chair review of the band members. The lead guitarist was an extreme headbanger. Her opinion? "B*** should be killed before he spawns."

LMFAO that's awesome. Great band name there... "Before It Spawns" Debut album title... "Her Opinion" Opening track "Kill It" :roflmao:
