U.S. Peavey Club

Thanks!! I think it adds just a special touch without going too far. My friend borrowed it last night for a gig and said everyone was checking it out!! He was really happy with the setup and sound as well. I had to work, no time for seeing bands these days :hmm:

Me neither... so I'm starting one! Maybe we'll be ready for others to not have time to go see us this summer! :smug:

Just pick this up over the holidays from a fellow TBer,
Peavey TL-5 black stain, goes real nice with my red TL-5 :)

Add another peavey to my list of one so far"

Peavey Foundation 4
Peavey Dyna 4

And I suppose a Peavey Foundation 5 will be on that list in about an hour...

*mumbles* glad I like Peaveys cause now I'm in trouble at home...:p and after this I'm done with the GAS for a few months...:help:

Pic of the Dyna-Bass... I had one in "Sunfire Red" back in 89-92. Congrads.

Thanks ^_^

Here is one of the pics of the Dyna from the auction:

I should have it in my hands next weekend I'd think. I paypaled it early today.

And here is an auction pic of the Foundation 5 I did win:

Gear behind it not included.

EDIT When I get them both in and cleaned up, I will take a group shot of my 'new' Peaveys with my Foundation 4 and post it here ^_^ I can't wait to get them in!!!

Nah, I was actually just kidding about your trouble at home remark. The trouble didn't result in fisticuffs, did it? :hiding: :D

Nice basses....:)

:D:D:D I totally missed the /trouble at home/../pics/ bit. LOL And no fisticuffs, but he doesn't know I went ahead and got the 5 string, yet. :help: I got the invoice for it and the seller is just so sweet. He was like 'Let me know whenever you get the money, and how you going to pay. Peace out.'

And thanks for the comment on my basses. :hyper: I don't know what I'm looking the most forward to (besides when I pay for the 5 string); finally trying a 5 string or plugging in and jamming with that Dyna :p

Yup I went for it and now I have a pair just like another posters pair here (which I had no idea I had done till the other day). Though I've been commenting here and there about leaving them factory or customizing them. I keep bouncing back and forth on it but I think I am going to completely black them out. Seems to be enough red Foundations out there to make it ok that two get a redo :p

And I don't know the song at all ... LOL... I have been checking out tabs at Bassmasta and I usually end up with Metallica stuff, KISS, other tunes like uhm...meow mix song LOL...got some xmas song tabs to play around xmas for my neighbors...(oiy) and you gotta get the Imperial March.

But I gather Stone in Love is a 5 string song? I know the moment I pick that thing up I'm going to be so lost LOL but I'm eager to learn it. I plan on going for BEADG tuning it. Want to explore the new low possibilities with it for sure.

"Stone in Love" is a 4-string tune, but you can learn it and invert the basslines to accomdate the low-B... might make for a cool effect on those runs.

By the way, I'm a regular on evilbay and here are some Peavey basss on the bay below.

I bought that one for a Best Offer of $120.

It seemed from the description that it might be a fretless. But it wasn't. Showed up a bit dirty and the wiring was wrong. In addition to one connection that had to be changed to make the pots work correctly, it needed a setup pretty badly and still needs some tweaking but it sounds GREAT!!! Neck is slick. Better than my other Foundation with maple fingerboard. I'll try to take a picture of both of them and post it.

I really like it.
