U.S. Peavey Club

By the way I just sold that killer blue Foundation that you sold me....to a guy in our FB Peavey page that wanted it bad, and promised to baby it just as you and I did!
Dammit, I was just getting ready to send you a message and ask you to sell it back to me. :sour:
Just kidding, just kidding. :D
I did feel bad for a couple months after I sold it to Chuck because it was so beautiful and in such good shape, but I don't really want a Foundation anymore.

It was a beauty and I wanted to keep it but...have absolutely no use for it. Sigh.

I bought it because it popped up on Craigslist and was too cool not to buy for so cheap, but I didn't use it after I got it.
It's better if it get's played rather than just hanging there looking pretty.
I tend to reach for my ash Gen 1 Fury first, just love that slant Super Ferrite pickup.

I really don't think this will fly here but I am desperate. Does any of you fellow Peaveyers have a US Cirrus 5 you would part with in a straight trade? What I have is a mint condition G & L L-2000 with build sheet and COA!

Oh Larry!! Now, I love a G&L as much as the next guy, but.....heheheheheh...you know the rest ;)
Seriously though, Do you have that G&L up for trade in the classifieds? If not, you might try it...you might find a Huckleberry there that would like to make that trade!! Plenty of G&L lovers out there.
As it stands though, I think you're farting in the wind in this club :D

But it's better if whoever owns it actually plays it, rather than it just hanging there looking pretty.

No worries, its going to a good home, and the new owner assured me that I would have first dibs at buying it back if he decided not to keep it...I also told him feel free to return it if it's not the best damn Foundation he's every seen or heard, cause that Foundy has balls as big as church bells!

Yeah that's what I thought. I do have it in the classifieds but no takers yet, I have my eye on another Cirrus 5 that I'm really trying to get before anyone else does. I am kind of panicing!!!!

You'll be interested to know that my 5 string USA Cirrus plays better that the two Ritters I just parted with!!
WOW , now that's the question I've been waiting to be answered. Not one, but TWO Ritter's ? WOW.

Not that I could EVER afford a Ritter, but it is the ONLY bass in the Smithsonian that doubles as an instrument and a piece of art, hence the exhibit.

I know I had the pleasure of playing a Fodera once at a bass get together and it felt like a Cirrus. So there's that.

Dig this BS. I'm in the market for a second USA Cirrus 5. Found one on Music Go Round for $1,000 (don't any of you guys snip me now). I offered them a mint condition ($1500+ value) G & L L2000 with OHSC, build sheet, and COA in a straight trade. They answered my offer with they would be interested but they can't do a straight trade!!! What???

Add $1. LOL

My RicRiot is starting to come together. I bought this one with this weird modified PG. I decided it was funky enough to use.

Nice route job, this guy does clean work and he's shielding everything.

The PG was cracked as usual so he's fixing it. I already bought 2 PGs for my other Pat projects from PGP...which I picked up this morning..YES! You'll be seeing some cool Pats in the near future...

Since I have them, I'm going with the pickup rings.
