Peavey NOS black 4 String bass bridge | eBay

Can anyone speak to the quality of these bridges? I’m getting stuff together for a p bass build with mixed black/chrome hardware, it certainly looks the part but if they’re not so great, I can go other directions. Also, if anyone knows the string spacing on these, that would be a bonus.

Question.. has anyone had luck cleaning a satin USA millennium neck?

I cleaned two Millennium Maple fingerboards. I used Barkeepers Friend powder. Mask the edges of the fingerboard with masking tape, make a paste with the powder and water and apply it to the fingerboard with a brush. Leave it on about 5 minutes and then rinse it off with water. Dry the neck and then smooth the fingerboard with OOOO steel wool. Then seal the fingerboard with oil finish. I used Dem Bart London stock and checkering oil.

This looks like a USA Millenium bridge... never had a problem with one.

The seller is Miss Amber... she's super ethical and fun to buy from. I JUST bought a bridge from her... it arrived in great condition and as described

Someone wrote me a note asking about the different country origins. My guess was that the 70s were designed and built in the USA "made in america"

With the 90s "crafted in america" probably meant "engineered in the usa" possibly assembled from international parts.

I never get tripped up on this stuff

I came across some of my old photos of the repair shop I used to work at. It was a total mess when I started (the main repair guy I replaced wasnt really good at anything other than wasting time)
Theres a lot of Peavey scattered in there. Check out all those boxes on the shelf at the back wall, those are all either complete Sheffield or Black Widow speakers or replacement baskets.

The parts graveyard. We have a few PV2000 and PV1.3K power amps to pull parts from. Those PV1.3Ks were just the worst.

Derrick Cooke , Peavey CVLT on Facebook had some from his dumpster diving days.

From what I recall most were pretty rough, the areas Derrick had access to held pretty poor fare compared to the stuff he grabbed while part of the auction clear out team.

Seller in Canada has the later logo.

Print your own is always an option. I scanned this 40 peghead for a guy in Germany few years back, it'd give you a starter for 10.

'Starter for 10' is an action which gives you a head start, in the case of older models; the b/w graphic I posted.

Just replace "T-40" with the desired model name and print on water slide paper @ 100%.
