The big question: Is Homer a Forum guy or Foundation S? Well, I'm sure he'd have both within a few weeks, but what did he start with?

Here's an update/one finished Peavey mod of mine:

I always wanted a Peavey Cirrus but couldn't do the 35" scale thing...here's the next best thing in my opinion (and many many thanks to Mark Garza of Garz Guitars for all of his fine work...this thing is such a joy to play!)

- 1994 Peavey RSB Koa bolt-on-style body
- Neck Pickup: Peavey active Vertical Flux Loading (VFL) humbucker
- Bridge Pickup: Peavey active vertical flux loading (VFL) humbucker
- Garz Guitars custom 32" scale replacement neck:
- 7 piece maple-purpleheart-maple-purpleheart-maple-purpleheart-maple neck
- Comfortable U-shape neck radius (for smaller hands)

Sometimes I can't help myself (actually a lot of times). Here's another project I'm thinking of doing:
- '78 T40 body (this is the lightest T40 body I've every picked up...under 5lbs), pickups, neck plate and knobs (my birth year)
- 32" scale Warmoth maple neck with canary fingerboard
- Super Ferrite single coil in the middle (probably going to try to slide the bridge humbucker closer to the bridge so I can try to get one of the neck T40 coils in the 24th fret position, the SF single in the 36th fret position and one of the T40 bridge coils in the 48th fret position.
- Some sort of pickup switching and some sort of coil tapping (I don't really want to do the wiring traditional here)
- Badass III string through body bridge (filling in the hole with a block of something)
- Sanding down the body to do an art contour, tummy and body contours
- Probably a blue paisley pickguard
- Probably some trans dark blue rubbed on oil finish on the body, back of the neck and headstock
Incidentally, the SF single coil I placed in between the two T40 pickups in my wacky potential project above is the same pickup (thanks @bigtone23!) that Jerry blasted apart and rebuilt for me in that link.
Too bad Peavey never made phones.

My thoughts are:
I don't like the Baddass bridge, lots of better choices IMO.
Some paisley I like and some not so much.
Quickguards has some things I think would look great with trans blue over ash.
I'll send you a PM to not hog a lot of space here with my opinions.

picked up this foundation with case on FB today. Serial number makes it an 87.
