U.S. Peavey Club

My son, yesterday, playing his Millennium I put together from when Derrick was selling off Plant B. I couldn't figure out how to put a video on here. I tried a Facebook link, but it says "video unavailable". He cut through the mix very well and sounded great.

New to the club here. Got a T-40 (with original case) from my wonderful wife for a Christmas gift. It's in fantastic shape and sounds incredible. I am always picking it up more often than my other 6 basses!View attachment 5037932
Awesome Kipp!! Beautiful specimen there.
You are member #453 and welcome to the club!!

STEALTH TUNERS

Since Stu won't sell me back this one...

I'm recreating it (found the donor) -- anyone have any black tuners that would go on a fury?

I forget the EBAY tuners on this -- ... commodity tuners... bolted right up.... now If I could lucky guess like that again

IMHO, life is too short to use any but the lightest possible tuners available, regardless of screw hole compatibility.

Could you explain the super ferrite recreations
Yes. Check out this thread here starting on page 3. It's a pretty quick read.

P.S. My main Foundation is at the shop as we speak getting some work done to her AND both sets of @Matt Kustom's 916 prototypes (the super ferrite with pole pieces and the Neo experiment) are going to be dropped in and a shootout will be occurring (and will be recorded for your listening pleasure, my TB friends) between the stock 87 SFs, the pole piece SF prototypes, and the Super Neos. Stay tuned.

Got an offer of a trade two for one,on my G&L Asat. 81 Peavey T40 natural rosewood fret board, with padded OHSC,and Peavey T20FL,natural rosewood fret board and OHSC. Think it might be a decent trade? Haven't did the trade yet, trying to decide on meeting up halfway with each other.

It definitely depends on the condition of those two Peavey basses. Do you not use the ASAT much?
