Will the Lightning P knobs fit correctly on splined shafts?

Lightning knobs went on solid shaft and while you can be sleeves to thicken splined shafts those are normally converting 6mm metric spline to 1/4" solid. Course the lightning knobs are cheap die cast so you could easily just bore them out wider and make the spline sleeve from model railway brass tubing.
I have used the brass sleeves on many splined shafts to install the metal P knobs on many basses. Easy peasy and effective.Peavey Lightning knob vs. Peavey Ice Cube knob Fitment Question:

A big belated WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!
It's very surprising to see this one is still out there and hasn't sold yet. Anyone notice any issues with it? Seems like the frets might not have much life left in them and there is a gap between the pickguard and body, but that might be from not getting wires put in the cavity completely? Again, based on that color and the price, thought it would be gone immediately.

It's a P-bass in a market saturated with P-basses.
P-bass is a very simple instrument, all you need is a comfortable neck. There's no shortage of comfortable neck P-basses in the saturated market and many can be had for under $250.
Too much competition has always been the biggest issue facing Peavey.
Because you can get used Furys from GC at any time and the shipping is $20 and you have 45 days to refund if you don't like it's condition.
This Ebay seller wants $83 for shipping and does not accept returns.
And interesting marketing - couldn't reposition bass gear after the distribution shift
Just being really picky here,...
The gouge on the body would irritate the heck out of me. You'd see that ding every time upon picking up the instrument and probably rub the inside of the musician's arm or catch clothing making it fray or pile. Again, just being picky, probably won't matter much to folks around TB though. There are other clean Peavey's out there in the wild that can be had for fair prices. The listing has 'Make Offer' on it. Try less 30% and see if you get a bite from the seller? The shipping fee is about right.
nicks and dents mean very little to me especially at this price point but if I may attempt to speak for others I need another p bass like I need a hole in the head, and apart from price I don't see a cheap peavey p bass being any more valuable from a player's perspective than any other cheap p bass
I don't know about valuable, but I find the necks on old Peavey basses feel great and to work decade after decade.
I just bought a used Squier Classic Vibe '70s P bass and sold it three weeks later because the neck was not as stable as any of my Peaveys.
Had to really work that neck to get it set up the way I like, and it just didn't want to settle down and stay put.
If the neck doesn't want to behave after three weeks, I have little faith it will not move from season to season.
That has never been a problem for me with any Peavey or my two Yamaha basses, they are the same in January as they are in July.

I've tried lots of P's over the years and the only two I really get along with are Peaveys and Japanese Fenders which seem to have a slim front to back neck profile and are relatively narrow. 1.625" on my SQ series Squier and 1.5" on my JB Special. And of course my 1.5" Peaveys which I do love. And to be honest, I prefer the Peavey pickups just a smidge over Fender for tone.
I've tried to like a number of other basses...Warwick, Washburn, Dean, Epiphone, Gibson, MusicMan, Ric and some I don't remember.
Easy to like most Peaveys,Yamaha and Guild, some Squier, and many Fenders.
Hopping in here because I've been curious what the consensus is on the USA Millenniums Peavey did awhile back. The wood they used on them is stunning and some can be had for around $600 bucks which in today's market doesn't seem that crazy. Just wasn't sure how hard replacing anything on one might be if I ever ran into troubles with one.
Hardware is Hipshot so easy enough to replace.
Tusq nut poses no problem.
Several folks do 5 knob 3 band EQ with variable mids so again easy enough to replace.
Pickups are nothing weird even though the stock ones are active, just J/MM or JJ; world is your oyster there.
Only odd part are the necks, 35" scale can be found but they're not really all that common on the aftermarket scene.
Looking at a Foundation with a little black "sticker" on the back of the headstock which reads "CE95". What does this stand for..don't remember seeing one like this, though I haven't seen a ton ob Peaveys. Thanks..
