Wow! I missed a bunch! Since the TB site do-over I don't get alerts for some of my followed threads and now including this one...

The blue Fury is just killer, if someone here doesn't but that one things are a lot worse that I thought!

I see a lot of talk about purging some basses...I have been thinking of doing the same thing! Its hard when you actually have to decide which one goes first!

My jam space bass barn is coming along, with almost all my Peavey's hung up together for the first time ever...see anything you like?

I'm showing my wife this post so she doesn't have any room to complain about my herd!

Serious question, I've been away from TB for a while, it seems like traffic is down? I keep hearing this is a bad market to sell in, are folks pinching pennies or is the market ageing out of buying basses?

On a random note, I have a watch collection I know I won't be able to liquidate in a few years, kids only want those computer things on their wrist these days.

TB traffic is definitely down. The changeover to the new forum was not without difficulties. Took the mods a while to sort it out. I think traffic is going up....just my gut feel. But still the forum is not what it used to be.

I think the market is hit and miss. Davey has a particular problem being based in the UK. Here in the US maybe it's a bit better. I've sold one but it was to somebody in the club.

Thx. I've used my Ipad to do a couple of "bass cam" live streams during a gig which is fun. Its an older model though and my buddy said the picture quality was a bit rough. I may try my phone next time.. We do a have a really good camera that we set up in some venues where there is room and its a cool backdrop. Will record the whole show and use some of the footage for promo vids.

Apologies if this is too self-promotional, but I'm pretty excited. My band released our new record last Friday - our first double - and I used my mahogany Patriot on two tracks. They were recorded in the same session at the bandleader's house, direct into the computer (both happened to be drum machine-focused tracks instead of live tracking). The engineer worked his magic re-amping and EQing during the mixdown. It's interesting to see how the tweaking make such a difference in sound to the same instrument.

I think the Patriot sounds like a Rickenbacker here...
