U.S. Peavey Club

It doesn't look to be touched the white one however is a mystery. Maybe you can help me never seen another one like it the pickups don't have anything written on them except Peavey in the corner. It also seems the head stock shape is different. Is it a transitional year where they were about to switch from the super ferrites to the vfl's? Just curious as to what anybody thinks? Also those are my favorite foundations as well I have had a newer one with the vfl's didn't like it at all.

Yes stock pickups -late foundation before the model and name changed

from what i understand, the plain peavey pickups are the transition between the super ferrites and the vfl's. that would place it in the 93-94 range iirc.

as for the headstock, my 93 with SF and rosewood board has the bump like your white one. i have not ever seen one like the red one - it looks a lot like someone tried to sand the bump flat, kind of like the SX Ursa headstock ... Maybe Tim would know?

During this period little differences were tested

It's rumored that there was an effort to streamline, refine and reduce these models

Youll also notice that the tl5 and fury had minor nuance changes etc

Doesn't make any better or worse - just modified

"As kind of the rule".... The hardware is better early... The ergonomics are more refined later

At the end of production there are hints that supplies would be migrated to the subsequent model ---- tony's stellar tl5 has the hand crafting of mid life USA peavey with the technical improvements of the cirrus/millenium

It's amazing.

Very nice. Another one in trans red went up on eBay a few days ago, '83 serial number.

Is that a Fury next to it? I have a red Fury with maple board, but not metallic or pearl finish like yours.
