U.S. Peavey Club

I'm on that same page. Actually, I have sold off all my non-U.S. made basses. At this point, I would really only be likely to consider buying any bass that was made in the U.S.A. or Canada. I would definitely consider a Dingwall or a Godin. I like to support "the home team" when I can. :D

I own one of these as well and pretty agree with everything you said. It's still one of the better P/J basses that I've played though. I think I just prefer the J/MM style.

Mine has the sunburst finish.

I own some Godin stuff - service sux - it's all disposable - it's a strange company

Then, maybe the Dynabass ? At $300 how can you go wrong ? With an active/passive toggle, you basically have a hybrid of a Foundation and a Rudy Sarzo

Hmmm... Otherwise it seems that Peavey basses, and our collective "little secret" is getting out and Peavey's are commanding a lot of $$ across the board in general.

One thing Peavey makes very well are their basses !

Also, I hope this thread doesn't get out and start raising the prices on all the basses mentioned :crying::crying:

+1! My fretless Foundation just plays and sounds SOOOOOOO good. And I know I will be building a Peavey arsenal over time. Any that I have played have always impressed me; I am a devoted fan for life! May I have a number?

This will be #4 US Peavey I currently own, #5 overall. Currently have a GV, Mill 5+, Foundation 5 and now Mill 4JJ (sold a Mill 5 to a fellow TB'r earlier this year). These things become quite the addiction once you play them!

Great score nic! Your former milli is getting a ton of playing time I get "cool bass" comments all the time.

Minor wear showing on body. Hardshell Peavey case (rectangular shape.)
Seem to remember a discussion a while back about the red Foundie with maple being a somewhat rare version. My memory correct on that?
