It is an '87, there is a hole in the headstock where the triangle would be, and indentation around it where it was screwed down onto the wood.

I'm not sure when they changed from the triangle, but they did at some point, at least on Dynas.

What do you think ? Foundation 2000 or Axcelerator ?

Both about the same price, so I'm looking for suggestions !

I like my Foundation 2000 4 string, I haven't tried any Axcelerators yet.

DING! DING! DING! Hold all calls! We have a winner! Also the other unusual thing about this bass is the battery cover is completely intact. As a matter of fact he told me it had never been off, as he always played the bass passive. I was really nervous putting a battery in it. I didnt want to break it!

Thats an early Schaller rail bridge. Very heavy duty and common on early '90s custom builds. A luthier friend of mine used to use them on his builds. As I recall they added a significant mass to the bulds.

Its a Kahler. The same one they put on the TL6. Minus one of course.

OPINION... Axcellerator is a higher quality bass and has a more refined design......

OPINION 2... avoid the ugly ones... for some reason they put out some dawg colors... they're tough to sell.

The quality build is in the same realm as cirrus/millenium... easier to use controls.

Def a Kahler... one of the truely "adujustable" bridges..... many of them are just marketing hype.

Nope acutally that is a really rare bass!! Peavey only made one Citrus bass and he has it

May be a nice bass, but a little too much orange peel in the finish for me...

Is it my imagination, or does the volume control on my 1999-ish Cirrus do more than simply raise the output voltage? It seems to me that it's adding some grit to the tone, or emphasizing harmonics, the louder it gets, even if I adjust the amp levels to compensate and keep the overall volume the same.
