Not just high - crazy high. I don't think I've ever seen an Axcelerator sell for over $300. More often they bring closer to $200.

That's a solid deal ... Hard shell case and amp.... The cheap peaveys seem to be the purple etc

A 2-Tek fretless has been languishing on GC's used site for months. It's $269 now. I wish I had the money to blow, as it's the same color as my Axcelerator, but with different options.

What is the spacing of a Tl-5, dynabass 5 and a US Millennium 5 at the bridge? I am looking for a companion to my US Cirrus 5. Thanks.

TL-5 has the Schaller roller bridge that is very narrow like 16 mm. I am not sure about the Dynabass. The US Millenium 5 is about 17.5 mm and is somewhat adjustable - similar to most other Peavey 5ers like the Cirrus.

Both of my Dyna 5s have Schaller roller bridges - which are adjustable for string spacing. The adjustment is limited, but there.

Maximum string spacing is 17.25 mm on this 5 String Dyna Bass. (Formula: Measure from center of B string to center of G string and divide by 4. In this case, 69mm ÷ 4 = 17.25 maximum.)

That is what I was saying, the Schaller bridge on my Dyna 5s is adjustable with the wheel, but you are never going to get 19mm out of it. They are narrow neck 5s. I like them like that.

"variable" spacing is more marketing than substance. Overall the Shaller Rollers installed seem to be narrower than the ABM used on Cirrus

So I found a Peavey Fury at a pawn shop for $69. Has the P pickups in it. Painted neck and fretboard. Neck seems streight. USA model. Now I am not to big on the painted fret board. However I am thinking for $69 this would be a good deal. Has cosmetic flaws in, paint chipped and ect. If I decided to get this, how hard would it be to remove paint from the fretboard? Any one have any info on this bass. Never seen a painted fretboard before. Is this a good deal? Forgot to get the serial number off of it.

Yes it's a silver burst. The room lighting is horrific in that room. She's plays beautifully.
