U.S. Peavey Club

GC Used Alert- GC in Paramus, NJ has a US Grind 5 posted at a price lower than most import Grinds! As always, if I had the cash, I'd buy it to try it out. For those (like me) who didn't know there were ever US Grinds, I'll repost the brochure page from part 5 of the Peavey Club thread.

Paramus is only 30 minutes from me. Hmm..

Guess it's time for me to join the club!

I just picked up a Koa Dyna Unity a couple of weeks back. Very cool bass.
The bassist in my son's band has been using it at practice and asked me if he can use it at their gig tomorrow night. He likes it almost as much as my US Millennium...which he used at their last gig.

Invalid Link Removed. Missing one knob. :bassist:

Okay, someone help me out with this one. It's got passive electronics and black hardware. Looks like it might be Koa; I think there was another one with dark-tinted maple if memory serves. I can't find any information about one with black hardware, though. I'm driving out tomorrow to make an offer on it. The more info I have the better.

The pic won't zoom for me but it looks like KOA. I've seen passive Koa Dyna Unitys with black or gold hardware. It should have the Gotoh style bridge. The only maple versions I've seen had the preamp and Shaller roller bridge.
