I love my Fury. Regarding the metal nut: You might want to consider putting a shim under the metal nut. Or giving the neck a little relief and then setting up the bass again. But I would try the shim first.

Ok looks like the original solder for the bare wire broke and it's been resoldered. Is this a ground to the bridge? It runs under the factory shielding.

Dd you think the bass was built right around the same time? Or maybe they assembled pick guards in a different areas and then put them together later?
We'll I guess I am not numbered member but just got this and I love it, I have not seen the sunburst Fury, has the outlined head stock, just blown away with this, not my first one but the nicest I have
