Black on white Patriot looks smokin hot... I love my Red&Black but that takes a close second! I love the thin neck and matching headstock on my "custom" model but the maple does pop much nicer than the rosewood on mine.

I just strung my Patriot up with Fender Flats as suggested by folks on here (replacing GHS Precision flats that had worn out past the nice broken-in sound, and into total dead thud) and it sounds pretty solid, I'm reserving judgement until I've broken them in a while though.
It was also a nice day out so I decided to get some photos, I wasn't sure if I had any since I swapped to the Babicz bridge (3 of its 5 mounting holes match up with the patriot, so I'm only using those 3 screws, don't want to make any un-reversible mods) and it does look pretty snazzy. Not really a fan of the christmas looking green and red thing with the silks on the Fender strings but such is what we do for tone
Also took a pic of my half US Peavey, this frankenbass has the best neck I've played, its super thin front-to-back (see the last picture, its barely the thickness of the headstock all the way down). The B-Ninety seemed like a pretty dull bass so I never played one, but the necks apparently were phenomenal.

The B-90 is a fine playing bass but the PUs are a real weak link. Don't know what they were thinking. If anybody finds one cheap put a DiMarzio DP126 P&J pickup set (or your favorites) in it and you'll be happier than a pig in slop. They're light, too.
Use a Sharpie on the green silks.

My USA peavey unity bass that I bought for 100$ this is what It looked like when I got it and the other pics are after 5 hours of hand work. It's finished now but I'm going to wait until its nice outside to take pics. The sunlight makes it look so much nicer. I still need to get a new set of Dr strings and I want new pickups. The ones in it aren't bad, but I would like new ones probably passive only. But the bass is set up internally to be capable of housing a battery. But let me know what you guys think about what pick ups I should get.

I rubbed the bass with a lemon oil treatment. Should I leave it like that or should I spray it with something clear. It's the first time ive stripped a bass so I don't know
Choice is yours Randall. Spraying is plenty coats with downtime and rubbing between coats. Oil is apply and rub,
Another option is wax, rub it on wait 20 minutes polish then repeat until your happy.

randall, what kind of wood is that under the paint? Koa? I've wanted to get a painted Unity and strip and refinish, but didn't want to do it if it was basswood or something like that under the paint. If it is maple or koa, it would be worth it. I really like what you've done, it is a pity to hide pretty wood under paint.
Yes it is koa. A nice guy on my other post let me know that it was. And yes its a total shame to hide such beauty under paint.
