Basicjohn was the assigner/keeper of the numbers. I noticed he has not posted since April this year. The last version of membership list is on the bottom of page 12 of this thread. If anyone wants to pick this task up, I think would be a good idea. Would need to wade through pages 12 to here to add the new members. If no other volunteers, I will do it but if someone else is really interested, have at it.

I rubbed the bass with a lemon oil treatment. Should I leave it like that or should I spray it with something clear. It's the first time ive stripped a bass so I don't know

Talk about finding buried treasure!!! I can't believe the factory painted it. Must have had an order for black and had several Koas in inventory.

I highly recommend using plain mineral oil on Koa. It's what I've used for the last 15 years on my Koa TL-5. The "lemon oil" you have is probably 99% mineral oil anyway. Rub some on, let it sit and buff whenever you feel the love. Word to the wise....once a non-drying oil is rubbed into wood it will be extremely difficult to remove it for painting.

Trouble is he's not available till next Friday and I'm away on a contract for 6 weeks next Saturday

I am the last person i can tell that got a number Im 348.

after reading so much about them I took the leap and got a Cirrus 5 USA.
Walnut Wenge, bartolini soapbars. Amazing action and tone!
Can't believe the bass for that money!

Thanks bigtruck. Gotta be a 5 string for me, so the last one won't work. The one on JLAforums also showed up in the nationwide craigslist search, and I looked at it yesterday there I think. But today the link is dead. Maybe I'll sign up for JLAforums so I can respond to the guy.

I'm trying to hold out for a trade and If i don't get something I'm going to probably sell it soon and give Geof_in_nc the first shot at it since he messaged me before about buying it. I actually like it a lot and don't really want to get rid of it but I find 6 is easier to play than 5's at least for me.

There's an Axcelerator 6 on used.guitarcenter.com. (there's also 2x 5ers but they're both black and I've had enough black basses lol)

Edited to add: I have no connection to guitar center other than occasionally drooling over their stock.
