Ok, for those in the know, this would appear to be a "clear" neck, not an opaque one, right? I thought it was black in the ebay pics. I was mistaken.

The Millennium is in very good shape for a 30ish year old bass. A little staining on the back of the neck, a few small chips. Sounds great.

The G-V is in pristine condition. I'm wondering if it was NOS. came with a case. There is exactly ONE mark on the bass, at the end of the head. Looks like it hit a white wall, and got some white on it. I'm sure it'll come off. That bass sounds freakin huge, and has this inherent 1K-ish bite to it that just cuts.

I'm going to play them both with the strings they came with for a week or two, then switch to my dunlops and tweak the set-up on each. So far, I'm THRILLED with them both.

Congrats on the best bass I've ever played!! (G-V) does it have the weave?

Dunlop super brights? Nickel or stainless? How's the growl? My GV has NYXL

And let me know when you want to sell it;)

Here is my 1983 T-20, I am loving the color. Gotta get her all setup this weekend when I have more time.

Nice score on a true American classic. Looks just like the one I had. Pretty sure the official name for that finish was Frost Blue.

I'd still have mine if it wasn't so heavy. It had a distinct "plonk" sound, different than a Foundation or a Patriot, but identical to the early Fury's with the same elecs.

@BassikLee Thanks. I thought my GAS was good for a few months now but you just have to go putting up pictures of a GV. I really want a G bass now. drool

Speaking of GAS, my Millennium just got delivered to my father-in-law's house. :woot: Now I have to wait for Christmas :( or see if I can get it disassembled and packaged so my MIL can take it on the plane when she visits in a month.

Here's the collection of peaveys!

Looks like your GV wears a non stock bridge as well. All of them that I've seen are the three screw ABM like the Cirrus 5 uses. Not my favorite bridge, but they work.
