Yup.Ok, for those in the know, this would appear to be a "clear" neck, not an opaque one, right? I thought it was black in the ebay pics. I was mistaken.
Congrats on the best bass I've ever played!! (G-V) does it have the weave? The Millennium is in very good shape for a 30ish year old bass. A little staining on the back of the neck, a few small chips. Sounds great.
The G-V is in pristine condition. I'm wondering if it was NOS. came with a case. There is exactly ONE mark on the bass, at the end of the head. Looks like it hit a white wall, and got some white on it. I'm sure it'll come off. That bass sounds freakin huge, and has this inherent 1K-ish bite to it that just cuts.
I'm going to play them both with the strings they came with for a week or two, then switch to my dunlops and tweak the set-up on each. So far, I'm THRILLED with them both.
All the necks have the same weave, some got clear coat and some got black, otherwise exactly the same neck made by the same people in the same place.Congrats on the best bass I've ever played!! (G-V) does it have the weave?

Yes I believe it was an all parts Abm quick realeses string style bridgeLooks like your GV wears a non stock bridge as well. All of them that I've seen are the three screw ABM like the Cirrus 5 uses. Not my favorite bridge, but they work.
