U.S. Peavey Club

Here it is! '93 Foundation with a maple board and transition period pickups. Plays and sounds wonderfully, I forgot how fast these necks were! Also a pick of it by it's T-20 cousin for good measure.

Looky what I just scored, and at a good price...US Foundation 2000 5'er! I've heard that these are supposedly rare, and this one comes with the bombproof OHSC, too. I'm going to have an active 3 or 4-band preamp installed, either an Audere or Pope (Audere is a good chunk cheaper). It's supposedly in awesome shape, and I didn't have to pay shipping, because I'm picking it up the morning after our gig that just happens to be in the seller's city...BOOYAH!

Great bass. Never seen one of those before. The foundation 2000s I have seen had more of the regular foundation shaped body, and pickups that weren't as long. Your bass has more of the Millenium/G-V body shape, and longer pickups like the cirrus or G-V. Great score!!

I had one almost the same color, but yours looks new. Congrats on a great find!:bassist:

I've never seen a peavey in that color, that color is gorgeous especially when contrasted with black pickups. Congrats.

Operation successful. Given that they both have black headstocks, and pao ferro (spelling?) boards, the look didn't change much. Now I have the following US Peavey fives:

Cirrus
Stock GV
MILLY/GV hybrid
GV/MILLY hybrid

Still looking for more GV basses. I might grab a foundation 5 with SF pickups. Definitely looking for a TL-5, and maybe a Forum 5. Great basses, woefully underrated.

There are a number of TL's out there for sale right now. There are two nice 6's on Reverb, and a 5, for starters....
