That Fury first Gen is not only wider at the nut it is a thicker neck more C shape than the later D shape. Totally different feel to the later necks. More Fender P-ish

OK thanks. Do all the T series have the same neck? I've seen some T20 basses pretty cheap.
The T series seems to have the same headstock and similar size tuners as my patriot, so I imagine the only weight difference would be the increased neck width.
I noticed this on eBay... I just asked the seller to make some measurements for me.

T-40 is a 20 fret neck and won't work. T-45, T-20 and 1st model Fury are 21 fret necks and will work. All their pegheads are much larger than the Patriot's.

That ebay listing is wrong and I've contacted the seller since I was looking for a T-45 neck. It will fit a T-45 but it is a Patriot with the ~1 1/2" topnut.

My Patriot is aprox 1 7/16ths (I only have that ruler) It feels too slim for my tastes. If anyone likes the ultra slim ones I'll trade.

You need a thin wall 5/16th socket. A Les Paul tool sometimes works if the nut isn't sunk too far into the hole.
I've saw me removing the string tree to get the correct angle

The tool you linked to is for the later models after Peavey went metric.

Scottish Clan expanded again this week

Not easy to photograph as it's not black but more a gunmetal or graphite colour. Weighs less than either of my Millennium AC BXPs. I'll be interested to see if the action will goes as low as on the BXPs,both of those are G-1.25mm E- 1.5mm.

What's that in inches ?

G-1.25mm E- 1.5mm. What's that in inches ?

.049" to .059".
The conversion is.......
mm X .03937 = inches.
inches / .03937 = mm.

That's in the same range as my best. 1/16" (1.575mm) to 3/64" (1.19mm) is my benchmark. Ruler is marked in 1/64" increments

I tend to run stoopid low like that also. My basses play themselves. Congrats on getting to what Entwistle used to call "the other side of the frets" low

TBH fellas those sizes are not critical for me. I just set each bass up to feel comfortable,if it's
higher but plays good that's enough

Had a slight mishap while trying to help a fellow Peavey brother this week,the old solder joints on my Dyna parted
from the board. All back shipshape now.

Sky high action may be more a matter of adjusting the microtilt than futzing with the truss rod.

I need to remove some of the relief from the neck first. I like a much flatter neck than what this thing currently has. Then I'll hit that micro tilt if it needs it.
Is there a place to get trussrod covers for an '84 Foundation?

Thanks! Any idea if the one for my 1984 Foundation (Black & Maple) should be the "Standard Original Black (B|w|B)" or the "Black Pearl (BP|w|B or Vintage Cream Pearl (CP|b|CP)."

The truss rod cover is insanely simple. you could probably make one that looked legit from a peanut butter cap and some sissors
