22 Peavey, with two more in transit
If memory serves correct, yes its a 5/16" bronze nut.
I had the Green one and then GC posted the black one for $279 and I couldn't let that deal go by.
Could have been mine. Leastways Peavey UK posted mine then they went on the Peavey Bass Guitars FB page later.

Interesting transition fury, must be late 91-early 92, rounded headstock, but same script name and pointy logo of the pinstripe, but no pinstripe.
Of course the seller's knowledge of peavey values (and years) is on par with his/her knowledge of stringing a bass. The body looks like it might have been used as Gimli's Axe in a LARP match.
Just got relisted because nobody bid at $145 opening and certainly no bites at the $350 buy it now option. Ironically this one is VERY close by, one of the "cities" that borders my "district".
Perhaps a collector of rare headstock configuration furies might want to send a message with an offer.
Envious of @Groovybanana peavey collection, or should I say "hoard". You sir have had a measurable effect on rising peavey prices, supply and demand
maybe this local (to me) fury can become #25?

2 is enough for me, if I got a slant one that wouldn't count since it is a different bass. But I still want a 94 with that headstock that is like the one I had back in the day. What I really need is something super ferrite equipped, and as a jazz guy and later vfl foundation owner, a foundation makes the most sense. I like those thin necks, and 2 pickups.I am done with buying Fury's I think, three is enough for now
I would pick up a $100 patriot though. I will probably end up with 5-6 peaveys when all is said and done, as long as the high priced ones don't become the norm. T-40s have already gone out of my range. I wish I wasn't so broke. I am not resorting to selling my fenders and Warwicks though.

Ah, only unique rare furies for you huh? You need a maple/split p one still. Or is the other black one a painted maple neck? There has to be some rarity clout to the script/pointy on the round headstock, however I do think it looks kindof "off", without the pinstripe, or a larger block logo, it just looks like no thought was put into it.
And that body is just thrashed. That's an $80 fury, $100 tops. The neck is probably in better shape than my 93, but mine has mojo. Someone played their ass out on that fury (mine, and obviously wore rings and wasn't careful about dinging up the bass or leaving it out in the elements).
If he keeps relisting at $145/350 it will be there a while. I'm tempted to at least inform him it is a 90s not 80s. So much misinformation in peavey listings, especially on eBay. One guy once told me " I thought there were no USA peavey in the 90s"
@Groovybanana ....Looks like we have twins. Mine's serial #03783293....1987. What's yours? This one sounds the best of my 4 to my ears but only by a slim margin. I think it's because the red paint makes it brighter.
There was a sweet blue foundation that bid up to just over $200 recently. Blue peaveys look cool. The red looks good with the black, not so much with the maple and white. Also not too keen on the red of my foundation, that might be a refinish in the future, possibly natural if it looks good enough. Its maple.
So many black ones, black and maple with tuxedo white pickguard. Good thing I like that, all my fenders are tuxedo, as well as both Furies and milestone. It would be nice to have another color, but I have to take what pops up in my area that isn't price gouged cuz it's 'murican.

I think that script logo one you posted would be considered Gen 2 but so beat!
Fury's...I have two, the slant SF and 1994. I will buy one more with split P/lined headstock when it shows up on my radar screen....patiently waiting for the right specimen.

If you were referring to my post, it certainly is the same as the first post pinstripe versions, but before they had decals or screens (however they do it) for the block logo. Other than the headstock printing, yes gen 2 of the split pickups, 3 if you count the slant as gen 1.
Good thing it is thrashed and overpriced, I am very close to harbor city, I'm in the harbor itself. I would be tempted possibly, just for that rarity, but that's really not what I'm about. I too need to put the breaks on the fury acquisitions. Another foundation, since mine is a later 1pc w rosewood and VFLs, a 2pc maple with SFs is what I need. No budget though. Gotta book more gigs.
My 1992 White Fury has the exact headstock as that EBay listed one, ..so you got it right.
My 1992 Foundation is the same except they printed the Handcrafted in U.S.A. on the back of the headstock.

Your White Fury w/Black Pickguard (1992?) on the right is the same as mine, same headstock and logos and the paint job has mellowed to the same nice vanilla cream color. Mine had a dead pickup in it that I could not save so mine has and EMG GZR in it that sounds great.
Is that foundation super ferrites?
That actually looks like a nice headstock. Perhaps because foundation is a longer word than fury, or perhaps because yours is Cleaner, better photo quality, and the E isn't wound around the wrong side of the peg.
One of my Foundations has the same headstock as that Fury and @58kites foundation as well.
@mech my Red Fury is one of my favorite basses that I own and was one of my cheapest, it's definitely the red paint

Guess that answers the sf question. Nice. I would totally go for a foundation with that headstock. My foundation is rosewood, so I hope the one I finally get with SF is maple. Perhaps a rosewood fury is in order at some time in the future? OCD sucks...One of my foundation has the same headstock as that Fury and @58kites foundation as well.

Yup, has two Super Ferrites, the neck feels very good and is rock solid stable, never moves with weather.Is that foundation super ferrites?
