U.S. Peavey Club

Heads up for any one looking for a Fury.
GC has a black one with a black painted neck, which is fairly rare for only $149.
I'd not be sharing this and buying it myself if I didn't already have one :)
Mine!
The pickguard still has the plastic film on it!
The pickguard looks like a cream color, GC says it is cream and not faded white.
It's gonna get a black pickguard though, it would be cool to put a black bridge and tuners too, but I'm not sure I will go that far to black it out.
The serial number is not on the Wiki page, if I remember right these are after 1995, it's made in USA but late in production I think.
Thanks for the heads up.

Sweet, glad to see someone here snagged it! Mine is completely blacked out, black pickguard, tuners, bridge, I even put LaBella tape wounds on it.

What are the first four digits of your serial number?.. and what year does that make it?
I'm trying to find out what year this one was made, and the 0827 is past what the Wiki Peavey page serial number list shows.
And we will need a nice large pic of your blacked out bass to verify that you are telling the truth! :D

Or because we all like to look at bass porn.

I'll try and remember to post a pic of it blacked out when I get home tonight.
So yours is in this range.

1995's start with 0770 and go up to ??
So mine must be 95, 96, 97.

I like your pic, look forward to your blackout pic.

The Peavey UK FB page posted photos of the Scottish sept this morning and by lunchtime they were already out of date:D

A while back I stupidly sold a lovely violet BXP Millennium and while going through the photos my regret got worse :banghead:
As fortune would have it a violet Millennium Plus turned up on UK eBay and I knew the seller, one of the "pros" with the UK Peavey people being small in number :) The "con" being there's rarely anything for sale :D

At a very reasonable £350 ($430US) delivered inc case I just hit the BIN. That was late Sunday night and I was signing for it by 14.15 today  Nice flame on the top, lovely BE maple neck, not to sure about the D-Tuner. Never had a bass with one before so jury's out

......not to sure about the D-Tuner. Never had a bass with one before so jury's out

D-tuners work really well. Follow Hipshot's instructions for tuning and maintenance. There are a few points that need lube. Make sure the string moves freely through the topnut. Any binding causes problems. The most important thing for your ego is to flip the lever back up if the next tune is not dropped. Been there, done that, had to wear it.

First of all...holy crap you've got a lot of basses!

Second, your blacked out Fury is super sexy.
Yours and Mech's both have truss rod covers, does yours have a bronze 5/16" nut?
Mine is a 1998, so we will see what is different about it from yours, I believe mine has the open access to the truss rod and that the truss rod will have a 5/32" allen barrel nut.
I also think mine will have the Korean pickup.

Third, I see two G Basses!
