Well, it turns out to be 1987 Mahogany Foundation in stunning condition. He also included a bullet case and 2-pack of XL Nickels.

.....but I'm having trouble finding a truss rod cover. Is there a good source for parts? I emailed Peavey but little useful response so far - they just asked for the serial #. I've seen eBay auctions for custom made covers and period covers for T-series guitars and basses (specifically a T-20). Would any of these fit?

I ordered a set of replacement knobs for it, but I'm having trouble finding a truss rod cover. Is there a good source for parts? I emailed Peavey but little useful response so far - they just asked for the serial #. I've seen eBay auctions for custom made covers and period covers for T-series guitars and basses (specifically a T-20). Would any of these fit?
Yes. They were standardized through the 80's peavey line. Also, the later single ply cover from the early 90's will work.Hey, folks -
