Haha. I've got soooo many Peaveys. Putting the foundation back up tonight, for sure.
The one I saw is still available, but priced high so it will be there a while, $229 I think, no caseI had missed & lost out on a couple like that and one was an '84 with OHSC for £100 gutted. Taking mine to a guitar shop this morning to have the truss rod checked, as I dont have a 5/16th wrench. But last Sunday when I saw this I couldn't pass this up

Mine was £175 with no case & it's seen a hard life (part of the reason I bought it), one minute there are a few available then you have to wait a few months for another.
I know£175 !! Prices have risen some. Couple of year back I was £75 for my black/maple SF Foundation and £50 for the Foundation 5.Pushed the boat out on the white Foundation, £100 as it was mint
Still if Cirrus custom shop and Axcelerator 5's can be picked up for £425 and £200 like in recent weeks I need another retirement plan other than Peavey basses
it was the one that was on eBay UK last Sunday, I hadn't seen one for sale in a while & regularly checked guitar shops online. But like you said prices were not bad here in the UK, were I had seen Foundation basses for about £100. But I guess it's still always down to being in the right place at the right time .
To be honest it was mostly just a few swirls of silicone I think. Started to peel it with a blade and then I just pulled it like a long rubber string@Ooba Tooba

I could still kick myself for passing up an '84 Foundation with OHSC, for £100 a couple of years back thinking that another would be along later.
Don't care much for the cases myself. Ok if they're slung on a bus for long journey but when you wake up one morning to find 35 of them taking up house space the "OHSC" in an ad isn't quite so tempting

48 Peaveys Shawn. Seems like every one is desparate to sell them with "OHSC",must be the space they take up
Much prefer the gigbag or those rigid foam Kinsman cases.
One thing,if you alternate the coffin ones,front to back, you can lay the rectangle ones on top for a table
