I always called that adhesive Elephant Snot and roll it up into big balls. To be honest it was mostly just a few swirls of silicone I think. Started to peel it with a blade and then I just pulled it like a long rubber string![]()

Bullet cases are bigger and heavier but IMO do a much better job protecting basses in extreme situations. I had a bass take a crashing and bouncing trip down an external stairwell /fire escape over three stories and landed unscathed. Not many cases would have survived much less the bass.I have one of the bullet cases with original lining intact which is nice. The other one needs relining. And I have on of the later rectangular cases as well. The bullet cases are heavy as hell....probably heavier than most of the basses that came with them.
Well no wonder!!!... you were driving on the wrong side of the road!Remember I'm on the right, bass was on impact side.
Was that the one at guitar center? Been watching those, one had 3 strings but looked just like this one, trapezoid bridge and all.Another one followed me home - paid slightly more than I wanted to at $245 with OHSC, but the bass and case are both in such good shape that I really don't mind...

I'm.getting jealous, but I have not been checking religiously recently. Still have about $200 left, but also need a bass wah and maybe an octave, and perhaps another Thunderbird for the system tribute (n+1 for the tbird club members). But now that the shavmiester is playing a Warwick... (And I have one in vault).
Really want a SF foundation, 2pc neck
