My GV/MILLY hybrid has a hipshot, because they're stock on the Milly. One of my GV basses has a Schaller. I put that on there, along with hipshot ultralights just to black out the hardware when I went to DR neon strings. What is your goal with the hipshot bridge?
Just want to remove my abm because it looks like grey plastic... and my tuners are black hipshot

Just would like it to match

1986 Falcon Custom with factory Kahler Spyder Tremolo. Bass-wise, many amps and cabinets over the years. Loved them all.

Should be an easy enough swap,both have a central screw to give the starting position. Plugging and drilling new holes depends on which string spacing you opt for. I wouldn't worry about that too much but I'd be asking folks what size the Hipshot is front to back so there's no intonation issues,don't think there would be but better safe than sorry.

If the $144US I'm seeing is correct then I'd be looking at prices to have the ABM coated first.

@Runnerman
Mind it ends soon. Think the difference in our time zones makes it around 6pm Wednesday. I'm 5 hours in front so see 10.58pm.

I've looked closer at the pictures and it does have some issues although maybe still desireable at that price. The paint chips are pretty large and the tuner issue is a bit concerning. Most concerning is all the rust including on the frets, right at the base which is hard to clean without damaging the board. Would really like to check it first for neck/truss rod issues. Has obviously been subject to some amount of moisture to get that kind of corrosion. Charleston is right by the ocean so maybe that is the explanation. I may send the seller a question just to see how he responds.

This is a bargain price for a wonderful 6 string Axcelerator. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to own a great playing and sounding 6 string for a low price.

Peavey Axcelerator 6 Made in USA Black Sparkle

Beautiful. And with the pau ferro no CITES issues.

**BTW, where do all the truss rod covers go? Honestly, I have bought more basses with the darned things gone than present and have worked hard to replace them. How much trouble is it to put them back on?

Folks can't be bothered trying to hold the tiny screw in place. Never occurs to them to stick the screw through a piece of paper,hold paper in place/start screw/tear paper away afterwards.
Hold on ! That sounds like rocket science :roflmao:
