Saw this in a pawn shop, it was in the back and the clerk couldn' tell me what model. I haggled a little and he came out from the back and he said it was an accelerator, but that doesn' sound right. From what I could tell, the headstock has been sanded to bare wood. Any ideas?

He doesn't mention the case, but if it happens to have the felt-lined bomb case, then it's a steal.

Yes, they've gone up in value.....it took forever, but they've gone up.

My '91 Koa Dyna Unity has gold tuners and a similar headstock profile...but a much smaller scalloped area:

Interested to know what that is - if it's a Palaedium, they are getting harder and harder to find, it seems.

Compared the photo against my Palaedium and they definitely look the same. Cant see it being a Sarzo, doesn't appear to be a laminate neck.

I was thinking Palaedium, that makes since. It has smaller tuners, not Schallers like the Dunes or Unity. It is still in pawn and I won't be back here before it gets out. Hopefully, it will be here when I return in a couple of months. Thanks for the replies.

That's a unity koa, not a dyna unity koa. The Dyna ones had black hardware. As for the Sarzo, multipiece neck thru. I see a plain maple headstock, with gold mini tuners. I'm holding fast on my Palladium opinion.

Yep, Jeff Berlin. Crazy thin neck, ebony board, alder body, two humbuckers in somewhat "extreme" positions. Really nice bass.

I was looking at the owners manual. I'd love one of these. Passive also and it says its a thinner body as well which would probably make it light and very comfortable. Too bad they are so rare

Always been partial to the metallic blue Peavey used. Somebody on here re-finished a Fury/T-20 with it,looked killer Course I can't find any photos now

Has anyone stuck a hipshot a style bridge on a GV?

You can find either the Style A or B with the exact same hole pattern...not sure which model, though.

You might also be able to retrofit a Schaller 3D roller bridge, too (not sure about spacing, but pattern is close).
