I also have something in the post that I will share with you all on arrival. First a Friday story. My first bass was a US precision from the 80s that served me well during my teenage years but indirectly lead me to my first Peavey bass experience. My first girlfriends father worked in the music business. I was of course curious what this very pleasant gentleman did for a living being interested in music myself. You guessed it he worked for Peavey. We didn't talk much shop as I was more interested in his daughter at the time. However one day we were in the music room and Kenneth came in with a dusty old Peavey case. "Here Mark being a bass player you may appreciate this" "Dad what's that?" "it's an old bass Hartley made for me" his reply. So I spent a good 40 minutes twiddling on the T40 prototype The serial number was 1 if I can remember correctly. A gift from Hartley to his friend Ken. After that I was hooked and pretty much played Peavey since then. It didn't work out with the daughter lovely though she was....T20 Fretless headed my way. Absolutely the last thing I need. But it’s so darn cool.....
