Later Peaveys are metric. You want a 4mm Allen key for the TR and 1.5mm for the bridge saddles grub screws.

I use 4mm either way on basses with Allen Barrel Nuts, if they want 5/32 a 4mm is just a hair bigger and still fits.
I much prefer the brass "Gibson" nut to the Allen Barrel Nut.
But the Musicman/Yamaha "Tinker Toy" wheel is king.

I refinished this 91 Foundation. Polished up the chrome. I got this bass for 90$ and it was beat by a female punker. You folks thought it had some mojo but I wanted less gouges and some shine. Hope you like.

Truss Wrench Size...

As long as we're on it... does anyone know the size of the truss nut on later necks?

If you're asking about the Allen nut, it's 4mm. A 5/32" fits loosely and is probably the reason the recess is stripped on some.

Sure have and stage is flat. Thanks for your concern. T40 sounds beautiful on the p bass setting but cuts like a pair of wet underpants. Maybe have to switch to the banana fury until I have figured it out

Many of the recommended settings are great when you're at home or doing a YT video. All changes when you set up in a big hall,gets worse when that hall fills with bodies.
Might upset some folk but all my T40s only get used full humbucker mode.

Full humbuckers all open mids up on the amp only thing that was audible.......may give it a go in the second set .....

Nice job - I think some Gibson style speed knobs might look a little better, but that's purely subjective... Here's what I'm talking about:

Thanks, I'd like to find a T-45 in similar configuration and shape with a Peavey case.

Update.....Well, I found a nice T-45 that matches my current T-40 and pulled the trigger....should be here in a week from Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
