A few of these washers from Home Depot and my truss nut is very reachable. Cheap easy fix!
Look on eBay. There are a few sellers that make custom ones in multiple colors. I got a black pearloid for mine (though I still haven't put it on - need to re-drill the hole).
I’ve had the Allparts truss tool for years now. But, it isn’t a deep enough socket for every bass. And, you don’t want to barely be on the nut and slip off and chew it up. The tool also chews at the wood at the end of the fretboard, when it’s sunk deep in the hole. I’ll be using washers on all my Peaveys with this issue.
Your best bet is to either make one, or pay someone to do it for you... I used a section from an old PG to make a truss rod cover for my B-ninety when I needed one:

That particular cover didn't have a bend - but yeah, I'd drill the hole, then apply heat with a blow dryer while putting in the bend...

I've made a bunch of the bent covers. After it's shaped and the hole drilled, put a toothpick through the hole and into the screw hole to align the cover. Heat with a hairdryer and bend. It'll take longer to soften than you think. I use my fingers to bend it. Having good callouses helps.
Countersink for the screw head after bending. I've also made temporary out of thin black plastic from loose leaf folders. They just pull down with the screw.I've made a bunch of the bent covers. Yeah, I'd probably do something similar - I'd also mention that I'd purposely under bend it a little so that the screw draws it down into final position...
Don't under bend. Where the screw hole is located is the weak point and you can end up with a V shape.
My T20-FL I just picked up from GC - I paid about $350 for, so yeah - they got a deal! I really like mine though - now that I’ve got it setup it’s great!
