Also, when the pickups, pots, and knobs from a T-40 can fetch $300 total when sold separately... it would be insane to sell a fully functioning and structurally sound T-40 for pocket change.

I want the opposite bass a Foundation neck on a T40 body or a Foundation with T40 electronics.
21 fret neck on a bass designed for 20 ? There's intonation issues to tackle right off the bat.
The massive bridge and through body stringing limit your options.
Best solution is stick a slim 20 fret Milestone neck on your T40.
One bass I half regret selling was a T40 that had an All Parts Jazz neck on it. Played and sounded great but it was literally a boat anchor.
As I really need more basses
Now that sounds like a really interesting idea. I remember I came across a T40 locally a few years back and passed because the neck was a giant banana. Too bad I didn't have that idea.
The figurative use of "literally" has a long and credible history in the English language. Granted there are times when using it is inappropriate but usually context is sufficient to tell when somebody means literally-literally or not.
That's kind of where my bass is going next. I will receive a matched set of Toasters in a day or two and will rout out the neck pickup area for a Toaster. Will keep it VVT and the mini switch will split both pickups--leaving the inside coils hot. It's still going to be a Foundation body with a T45 neck and a simplified, but fully useful T40 electronic set up. No need for a phase or pickup selector switch, nor individual tone controls in my bass world. The main difference will be my Toasters will be tightly spaced and centered at 28.5" and 31.5" from the nut, vs a T40's wider spaced 25 7/16" and 31 1/16" locations.
I guess my bass will be more akin to an enhanced T45. The T45 pickup is 28.5" from the nut.
If anyone is selling a four string US Millenium in great condition - please let me know. I just picked up 5 string and I love it. I'm hoping to pick up a Cirrus and GV in the near future.

No connection with the seller but this is going for a great price. It is not a Plus by the way. The Plus have figured maple tops so this is a standard Millennium. I would have bought it but I already own a Plus 4 with J/J pu's.

I should've specified that I'm looking for a one with a J/MM configuration. There's a beautiful green model on Ebay that's in Mississippi that I would love to have but, the seller isn't answering my questions about shipping.
