Here they are - yes, one of the Foundations is undressed. That one came to me with a serious layer of tobacco shmutz.
Sorry - spent it all on Peavey basses!

Me either - I'm avoiding the final sanding stage because I haven't decided what to do. It's a really pretty laminate on the top (which doesn't make sense for a painted body - it was white), but it doesn't get to the edges very well. I'm thinking a blue burst so the edges would be opaque (inspired by this Ibby: Ibanez PF Series Pf15ece-tbs Acoustic Guitar), or go more original with a white, or do something else that I haven't thought of yet.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Yeah when I received the Dyna with the flat topped humbuckers the whole bass looked a little bare..the only branding was the tiny script-style printed on the headstock that denotes a Dyna Bass by Peavey in gold..but you had to squint to see it loll so I decided to make sure people at my gigs over 30 years or so knew it was a Peavey bass guitar lol The logos I cut out weren't perfect but they did the job...Nobody mistook the bass for anything but a Peavey lol
Today is the day I am supposed to receive a Cirrus 6 and a Palaedium both shipped through USPS. I checked tracking this morning and both say "arriving late". They will likely arrive tomorrow and I have an appointment scheduled for that day.
Sigh.

Official club member? What does it take? Here are my two Peaveys. 1992 Fury and 1987 Foundation.
My first bass was a Foundation S that was purchased new in 1990 (or 1991 - can't remember exact date). Sorry for the shirt-less photo, but it's the only one I have of that old bass (I was probably 20yrs old here). Wishing that I never got rid of it now!

That looks to be a little older, probably an 88 or 89. Nice bass in fact I think there is one like it on Reverb right now.
I bought an 86 Peavey Foundation S new and I still have mine. And it still comes out on gigs pretty regularly too.
Hard to tell from the photo but was that the active model ? The passives had adjustable pole pieces.
That looks like the active version. Passive ones also have the oversized pickup rings.
I'll need to do a family pic when I get back home. I just played my GV through my GK1200SEB. Man, I couldn't believe how punchy and full everything sounded.
I feel like my Peavey's work really well with my GK and my G&L's make a good pair with my Ampegs. I'm in a good spot.

Man I’m digging that Marshall head you have in that pic. I played through one at a shop in the mid 90’s and it was the biggest, ballsiest tone I’ve ever heard. Made an Ampeg sound like tin in comparison.
