Here are a couple pics of my old faithful 1986 Foundation S. Had it since new and have done more shows on this bass then any other bass I own.

For some reason I wanted Ignatz and Krazy Kat painted on it way back. A couple years ago I had a couple stickers made instead. Easier to remove when I get tired of it.

Still in very good condition for its age and usage . Still think this is Peavey's best body & headstock shape .

If you get closer on it there are dings and on the back a good but of buckle rash to the wood. But I played the crap out of it back in the day. I'm a little nicer to it now!

Agreed they had it right from the beginning starting with the T-40.

I shipped a bass USPS from San Antonio to MT. In two days it made it to Billings, MT.

Basses shipped to me from close by take much longer and are still not here.

Makes one wonder.

A nice early 90s(?) Fury for sale on GC. Doesn't look too bad. Same headstock as mine with Script writing and no black border line around the entire headstock. Love the black w/ white pickguard and maple fretboard.

That guy is so far outside reality. He is asking stupid money for it. It's like the wife said you need to sell some basses so he put it for a number it won't sell for.

What’s a Peavey Zodiac like?

Great for the money, but not US made - apart from a pair of very rare prototypes that were on Reverb a couple months ago. I have the Ellefson one, was my main player for about 10 years. The P alone gives a killer P impression, the P+J gives a pretty cool, almost Wal-ish modern tone. The J alone is ok. They can have QC issues, but they can be great. Very jazz-like neck, bit rounder, but narrow.
