I'm in love with that purple Millennium. But I can't justify the price and it's had 4 offers already, so you know he wants close to full ask.
As far as cases go, any after market case or gig bag seem to fit. I've never had one that didn't except for maybe an old Peavey case, ironically.

I like that. Thats a gorgeous book matched top on that one. Anyone ever seen one with blocks like that? Makes me think it's stickers.

I was thinking about making some Walnut knobs. I have some nice floor scrap that I got for next to nothing. I think this would make some good looking knobs for a walnut cirrus.

Wasn't me. However, I will take full responsibility for threatening to buy (I would've) if it sat until Thursday of next week.

I'm sure it will work out. Peavey's are just weird when it comes to getting one that you like. The biggest problem is that knuckleheads don't take care of them. I'm big into MIJ basses, especially the ones that are vintage. I probably pass on 2/3 because they're beat the *&^% up and need serious work.

My train of thought is, if you're going to wear the heck outta it, you might as well hang on to it.

Hey, question for you all: I think one of the two coils in the humbucker on my T-45 is out. When I rotate the dual/single taper the bass's volume drops to a whisper rather than simply changing tone. And the tone control doesn't seem to do anything.

Haven't done any surgery on it yet, but I've tested the leads coming out of the pickup -- green and red have continuity, white doesn't seem to connect with anything.

Yeah thats a good tip! Especially when you know someone is looking for one that you want too! LOL

What got me on that one was the outrageous book matched maple top. Sweet!

That's ok, I just bought a different one about an hour ago. Not as sweet as that one or that purple one but I like it So I'll see next week when it comes in.
