Happy new year from Texas, Brother.

My last model Dyna 5:

I love that beautiful white Dyna 5 Chuck..I have a soft spot for white basses..especially 5'vers. (I bought a beautiful 2017 white EB Music Man Stingray 5). My Dyna 5 is a 1991 second model with the flat top humbucker pups I believe from what the late mech told me. He was an unbelievable fountain of Peavey knowledge and is sorely missed.
It has been my main player from the moment of purchase back in '91 right up to current 2021. Great to play with a comfortable neck that only took me a few days to get used to as it was my first 5 string bass. I have never regretted buying it as it is a magnificent bass guitar. I really love the 3+2 head-stock tuner design above all other 5 string tuner layouts.
What year would your Dyna 5 be Chuck?

I'm sure some of you seekers seen this one...arrives Monday. I couldn't help it...BHPD+GAS=....not a heck of a lot of control!
Pic off reverb.
RIP Eddie!

Good day!
I picked this bass up a while back from reverb just a few days after discovering them here on TB. It's a wicked bass!

My question is what are the differences between the "Void" and the "Tragic" models? This one is neck through 18 volt pre...

Thanks!

I just read the specs on the Tragic. Man, that is a Cirrus interior in an Explorer type exterior. 12" radius neck, VFL's, Cirrus preamp, AND the added bonus of a lot of mass from the large body. I never really looked into these before but I can only imagine the sustain is killer. I can't wait to hear what you have to say after some playing time.

Ok here is the Peavey family pic...yes, I know I should not be allowed to operate a camera
Its dark and rainy outside, and there is zero natural light in my den...so this is as good as it gets

And to think, this lovefest all started because of a Stingray 5 I bought, and immediately sold...which gave me enough moolah to turn around and buy the Milly 5 and the Cirrus 5 both
