Ok, fair enough, so what's the second best bass for metal?

Unfortunately, there is no such thing, because if there were a second best, there must be a "best bass for metal". Thanks anyway.

#2. Always respond without ever reading any post other than the original. One wouldn't want to know that a point may or may not have already been made by another talkbasser. In face, it is a good practice to only read the title of the thread and respond to it. If you DO read the original post, be sure to only gloss over it, gleaning only the points that trigger the greatest emotional response and then react to those points accordingly.

My favorite TB rule:

Don't directly answer the question at hand, but rather assert what one feels is best for others. Denote any forms of evidence except for anecdotal evidence generated by said user, and act as if it is wholesome fact.

When talking about mixing cabinets, always justify it by saying you've always done it this way any ignore and science behind the justification for using the same cabinet. Make fun of anyone that actually believes in science.

It's also important to act like the scientific people *always* say "It will never work!" instead of what they actually always say, which is "It might not work, if you can try it out before buying."

When denying science it is important to go the extra mile and deny reason, and reasonable responses as well, because unfiltered emotion and pure snark is the best way to make decisions.
