I find you example to be insulting, the "therapist" you are referencing is either fictional or not a professional.
Fictional? Man, you need to get a grip on things there. There are many "quacks". In regular medicine as well as alternative.
I made no insult. I was in "therapy" for over 20 years with different pain management clinics. The initial injury should have been addressed but the insurance companie(s) would not go for it. So my personal experience stands. I believe in alternative medicine as I have read where it can work. But it does not solve blown out discs. Surgery does.
The only insult was that they cared more about revenue than my health. Not THAT'S insulting.
